Assign A Name to a Forms Control
If I create a Forms Control with a macro, I can very easily assign a Name to it:
ActiveSheet.ListBoxes.Add(297, 14.25, 207, 159).Select
Selection.Name = "BX1"
If, however, I manually create the ListBox from the menus on the Developer tab, I can't find a way to display or change the Name.
The option does not appear when I right-click the ListBox.
Do I really need to write a program to simply re-name an object I just created manually??
Anwsers to the Problem Assign A Name to a Forms Control
When you create a Form Controls list box (or any other control from the Form Controls section of the Insert dropdown), its name is displayed in the name box on the left hand side of the formula bar.
You can change the name there: delete the old name, type
a new one and press Enter.
- Download the Microsoft Windows ISO (installation device) from the following website:
- Users must select the appropriate ISO, either 32 bit or 64 bit, depending upon their individual computer.
- Extract the ISO file to a separate USB device or burn the program to a compact disc.
